Event Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for an entry level, motivated team player to join our growing property management practice and start a career. You will have the rare opportunity to find out firsthand about our newest developments, campaigns, partnerships and events. The position will collaborate closely with all our teams as well as have the unique opportunity to work closely with various properties.

The successful candidate will be primarily located at Woodwards and will manage the open indoor/outdoor public space as well as some other venues in the future.  Responsibilities will include: 

  • Activating and programming various venues with activities and events throughout the year
  • Field all inquiries about the venue and potentially others
  • Booking events into the venue and signing up contracts for the space
  • Helping facilitate booked events in the venue including organization of seating, tents, utilities, security, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with the space rules and regulations including security, insurance, safety and damage provisions
  • Managing and coordinating entire events as needed
  • Providing input, direction and communication to all involved parties, tenants and stakeholders throughout the production
  • Creatively procuring revenue generating and non-profit events for the outdoor or indoor space such as arts and craft fairs, art shows, movie productions, community events, music festivals, stage performances, cultural events and exhibits, plays, festivals, product launches, or other uses to activate the space
  • Interacting and reporting to Property Management and Facilities management as well as tenants and owners regarding events
  • Creating strategic partnerships with community groups to leverage branding opportunities
  • Enhancing the use of various spaces in and around our properties to better contribute to the communities, uses, public and tenant relations
  • Working with marketing department on social media associated with the events, spaces and programming; coordinating and assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives; maintaining branding consistency; and initiating internal communications
  • Producing and coordinating any promotional materials,
