Facility Manager, Asset Management

Reporting to the Department Head or designate, the Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the facility maintenance and operations of their assigned assets in the Westbank portfolio.


  • Performs all duties of the Facility Manager and undertakes repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Assist the Senior Property Manager and Property Managers to ensure smooth operations;
  • Oversee all of the mechanical/electrical facilities of the assigned properties;
  • In conjunction with Westbank standards develop and monitor the asset’s energy
    management goals;
  • Co-ordinating the Preventive Maintenance program for the base building facilities, and
    common areas;
  • Delegating work orders, and track results;
  • Training and development for maintenance staff;
  • Work with site security to improve site safety and support the Health and Safety program;
  • Assisting in scheduling of site staff hours;
  • Actively participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team;
  • Actively participating and promoting the Westbank vision;
  • Assisting in tenant’s improvement coordination;
  • Assisting in deficiencies follow up of development projects;
  • Complies with Westbank’s policies, procedures;
  • Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times;
  • Work with all PM’s team to insure all projects run smoothly;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • 4 Years Facility Management Experience
  • Adhering to security guidelines
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including effective communication, demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, planning and organizational skills
