Service Supervisor

Westbank is looking for a Service Supervisor for a high-profile, mixed-use, high-rise located in the Seattle downtown urban core. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, in this role you will be responsible for the maintenance operations, tenant service requests, building systems and unit turn over process for assigned residential rental properties. Every day, you will take a proactive approach to the upkeep of assigned property, maintain safety and compliance, and adhere to policies and procedures. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide access and operational support to subcontractors performing work within the building, verify that required work is completed, and report any deficiencies with proposed remedial actions
  • Monitor Building Automation System
  • Schedule and coordinate work activities with subcontractors
  • Perform mechanical rounds and log readings
  • Respond to tenant requests
  • Perform duties such as cleaning, painting, snow removal, HVAC adjustments, filter maintenance, minor plumbing maintenance, ladder and lift work, and general building repair
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times with the client, residents, fellow employees and the general public who visit the facilities
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Prepare site inspection reports
  • Request materials and supplies
  • Maintain a safe, respectful work environment and report unsafe conditions
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of building management/automated systems and HVAC systems
  • Available for on-call standby duties and emergency after-hours call outs on a rotational basis
  • Must maintain valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to adapt to multiple demands, set priorities and achieve results on a timely basis
  • Analytical thinker and ability to readily grasp new concepts and adapt to a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Desirable attributes include:
  • Experience working on high-rise properties
  • Experience working on large communities, 300+ units
  • Experience using Yardi Voyager
  • Experience in high-end property management

Physical Demands: In this role you can anticipate long periods of standing while touring sites and moving up and down stairs in addition to long periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer. The ability to support our operations in various tasks such as moving boxes and office setup will be a requirement.
