Zephyr

Developed by Westbank in partnership with Crombie REIT, Zephyr provides new rental housing for the West End, an expansive grocery store amenity that is the largest in the West End and service-oriented retail at street level. Our design sought to create a new architectural typology for the West End. As part of the City's public art program, we collaborated with a highly respected artist to integrate art installations into the very fabric of the building. Vancouver-based artist Neil Campbell has created Zephyr, a multi-coloured art installation that extends along the building’s south façade, to act as his living canvas.
