Weavings

Granville at 70th is located on the traditional Musqueam land and in a continuing effort to preserve the culture and roots of the communities our developments are in, we strived to highlight the Musqueam culture and mesh it with the architectural details at our Granville at 70th public art display.

Working alongside some of the most well recognized Coast Salish artists, a public display of traditional weave pieces were produced. These weave pieces are a tribute to the Musqueam land and members of the Coast Salish territory.

Each unique art piece symbolizes its artist’s strong ties and ongoing connection to their culture, ancestors and community and bring to light the deep-rooted history of the area.
